## Description

Chris Gursky is an author, artist, and photographer whose website introduces readers to his book, A Beautiful Day to Fall, and shares the story behind its creation. The book recounts a life-threatening hang-gliding accident during a vacation in Switzerland with his wife. Shortly after running from a mountain’s edge, Gursky discovered he was not attached to the glider. His account follows the frightening experience and its emotional impact, offering readers a personal narrative shaped by an unexpected turn of events.

Gursky began his publishing journey with a self-published book showcasing his art photography, released in 2018. The Swiss incident, captured on film, later drew widespread attention and changed the direction of his creative pursuits. The website provides information about the author and book, previews chapter excerpts, and offers free chapters for readers to explore. Visitors can also purchase the book, read updates on the blog, and contact Gursky through the site.
