## Description

Christina Oskui is an author and social entrepreneur whose work brings children’s stories and accessibility together. Inspired by stories she encounters in everyday life, she writes for young readers and hopes to create books children will want to read for themselves. She also encourages adults, including parents, grandparents and older siblings, to share stories aloud and help children explore imaginative worlds.

Since 2015, Oskui has worked on accessible children’s media. Her focus is on making children’s books more usable and engaging for blind and sighted readers alike, including books that can be explored through touch. She aims to help make books available to all children and invites others to join this work.

Through her website, Oskui introduces her books, explains her accessibility work and shares information about her background and social engagement. She also offers events and readings, where she meets audiences of different ages and celebrates the shared enjoyment of stories. Her work combines creative writing with a commitment to more inclusive children’s media.
