The Christmas Bureau of Edmonton has been proudly serving the community for over 75 years. Since 1940, they have been dedicated to providing a festive meal and coordinating Christmas giving to families in need in the City of Edmonton. As a non-denominational organization, they are accessible to all Edmontonians requiring assistance.

The Christmas Bureau acts as a connector for over 90 social service agencies, streamlining the application process for Christmas services. They compile client information into a database to ensure that food gift cards can accommodate all dietary needs. Additionally, they oversee the Adopt-A-Teen program, providing gift cards for teenagers aged 13 to 17.

Furthermore, they collaborate with 630 CHED Santas Anonymous to deliver toys to children aged 0 to 12 years. In 2022, the Christmas Bureau provided a festive meal to 60,582 individuals, a significant increase of 17,355 more applications approved. Moreover, 6,962 teenagers received a holiday gift card through their program.
