## Description

Christmas in Montrose is an annual community festival celebrating the holiday season and the close-knit, neighbor-helping-neighbor spirit of Montrose, Pennsylvania. The event invites people of all ages to enjoy a weekend of activities, support local businesses, and spend time with family and friends. The 2026 festival is scheduled for December 4, 5, and 6.

Its program brings together festive entertainment, shopping, food, and activities across town. Visitors can browse a farmer’s market and vendor market, shop at local stores, and enjoy food at Montrose restaurants. Saturday highlights include a visit from Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, photos with Santa for children and pets, and a Best Dressed Elf contest. Families can also find children’s crafts at local shops and a free kids’ movie at the theatre, while several churches host craft fairs. The festival shares its schedule of events and invites community members to sign up to be included. Christmas in Montrose offers residents and visitors a welcoming way to celebrate the season while connecting with the community and discovering local shops, venues, and activities.
