## Description

The Kennebunkport Business Association (KBA) is at the heart of Kennebunkport, Maine's cherished Christmas Prelude, a festive celebration that has dazzled locals and visitors alike since 1982. Originally conceived to foster community spirit, this annual event has blossomed into a spectacular two-week celebration, featuring a myriad of holiday activities including tree lightings, parades, and seasonal culinary delights. The KBA, comprised of local merchants, restaurateurs, and innkeepers, works diligently to promote the area and support local nonprofits through proceeds raised during the Prelude.

With the event attracting thousands from across the nation, businesses experience a substantial boost in revenue during this peak shopping period, enhancing their visibility while preserving the unique charm of New England. Members of the KBA benefit from marketing initiatives, social media exposure, and opportunities to engage in event hosting. The Christmas Prelude is more than just a festival; it embodies the community's commitment to joy, togetherness, and local prosperity, ensuring that the spirit of the season remains vibrant for years to come.
