## Description

Christmas Truckrun is a community event held in the municipality of Peel en Maas in Noord-Limburg, the Netherlands. Each year, a festive procession of brightly decorated and illuminated trucks travels through local villages, bringing seasonal cheer to residents. The trucks carry passengers from Daelzicht, making the event an opportunity for them to enjoy the route and take part in the celebrations. The 2026 procession is planned to include more than 65 Christmas trucks, with stops and viewing points in Koningslust, Grashoek, Beringe, Panningen, Egchel and Helden. The organizers also welcome applications from truck drivers, passengers and traffic marshals, and share updates and route information through the event’s Facebook page. Christmas Truckrun is supported by local businesses, community groups and volunteers, whose contributions help make the procession possible. The event provides an inclusive occasion for people across Peel en Maas to gather, watch the decorated trucks pass and wave to participants. For enquiries, the organizers can be contacted by email at info@christmastruckrun.nl.
