## Description

The Christy Award is a program of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association that celebrates excellence in Christian fiction and recognizes the influence of faith-centered novels in contemporary culture. It honors authors whose stories place matters of belief at their core and brings together the writers, publishers, agents, readers, and other professionals who support the genre.

The organization’s activities include presenting annual awards across multiple fiction categories, announcing finalists and winners, and maintaining a hall of fame. It also hosts events that connect and support the Christian fiction community. The Art of Writing Seminar offers writers, storytellers, and publishing professionals an opportunity to develop their craft and discuss issues affecting the industry. The Christy Award Gala celebrates achievement in Christian fiction, while Beyond the Book provides readers with a chance to meet finalist authors and hear about their work. Through its awards, gatherings, and educational programming, The Christy Award promotes meaningful storytelling shaped by faith and encourages collaboration across the publishing community.
