## Description

The Consortium for History of Science, Technology, and Medicine, located in the birthplace of American science, Philadelphia, is dedicated to promoting both scholarly and public understanding of the impact of science, technology, and medicine on our lives. Established in 2006, the consortium comprises twelve educational and cultural institutions, supported by grants from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and the National Science Foundation.

The Center offers a fellowship program, online search capabilities, and a comprehensive calendar for regional events in the history of science. Their aim is to foster a vibrant community of scholars and build bridges between scholars and the general public. Additionally, they host scholarly and public events on the history of science, medicine, and technology.

The Center, reliant on its partners for support, welcomes new opportunities for partnerships to pursue its ambitious program as a scholarly and cultural institution. By advancing knowledge about our past, the Center contributes to the public discourse about our future. For those interested, announcements and invitations can be received through various platforms on social media and streaming services.
