Chucklefish is an independent game developer and publisher based in London, UK, that is passionate about creating and supporting incredible games with charming pixel art. Founded in 2011 by Finn Brice, Chucklefish started with a small team of first-time developers who had a grand vision for their debut space game, Starbound. Thanks to the unwavering support of their community, Chucklefish was able to fund Starbound's development on Steam Early Access and eventually moved from working in bedrooms to establishing a cozy office in London in 2014.

Since then, Chucklefish has grown significantly, now employing 18 full-time staff members and having released their second game, Wargroove. They have also extended their support to other indie developers, partnering with ConcernedApe's Stardew Valley and Pixpil's Eastward. As an independent studio, Chucklefish takes great pride in their upcoming in-house game, Witchbrook, and a multitude of exciting projects with their publishing partners.
