The church was founded in 1999 by Pastor Steve and Jennifer with just 19 attendees.

Since then, it has grown rapidly, necessitating moves to larger spaces to accommodate its expanding congregation. Currently, Church of the King offers contemporary weekend worship services that are vibrant and filled with creativity, energy, and Bible-based teaching. The church also provides engaging children's ministry and timely youth ministry services for Junior High and High School students.
