## Description

Chytomo is a Ukrainian cultural media and publishing project focused on reading culture, books, and the art of book publishing. It helps readers follow developments in Ukraine’s literary world and discover stories about books, authors, publishers, and the people and institutions that shape the sector. Its coverage includes news, interviews, features, reviews and recommendations, alongside visual content and educational articles. Readers can explore topics such as publishing trends, literary adaptations, Ukrainian culture, translation, and the effects of Russia’s war on cultural life and publishing infrastructure.

The platform also highlights new books, special projects, exhibitions, and other cultural initiatives, and maintains a calendar of literary and related events across Ukraine. Chytomo serves readers and professionals interested in literature and publishing, offering a space to learn, explore, and connect with the wider book community. The project invites supporters to join the Chytomo Club or contribute through recurring or one-time donations, helping sustain its coverage of books and literature in Ukraine and beyond.
