## Description

Cyberzaintza is the Basque Cybersecurity Agency, working to strengthen cybersecurity and build a more resilient digital society in Euskadi. Its work supports public administrations, businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises, cybersecurity organisations and professionals, students, and residents. The agency shares guidance on cyber threats, vulnerabilities, ransomware, industrial control systems, resilience, good practices, and cybersecurity frameworks through its online knowledge resources.

Cyberzaintza also provides training, tools, and practical information to help people protect personal data and adopt safer online habits. Public awareness initiatives address topics such as secure online shopping, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity for teenagers and older people. For educators and parent associations, its ZiberJendea programme offers sessions on cybersecurity themes.

The agency promotes collaboration across Basque public administrations and supports implementation of cybersecurity requirements, including the National Security Framework. It also raises awareness of emerging risks and publishes alerts and updates. Through CyberLehia, developed with regional education partners, Cyberzaintza encourages vocational students’ cybersecurity talent and helps connect future professionals.
