CIBM Centre d'Imagerie Biomedicale, also known as the CIBM Center for Biomedical Imaging, is a renowned research institution founded in 2004 through the generous support of Fondation Leenaards and Fondation Louis-Jeantet. The center is a collaborative effort between the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), the Université de Lausanne (UNIL), Université de Genève (UNIGE), the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (HUG), and the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV). Led by the Founding Director Rolf Gruetter for 15 years and now under the leadership of Executive Director Pina Marziliano, CIBM has become a global leader in biomedical imaging.
