## Description

Ciencias BCS, the Interdisciplinary Center for Applied Sciences of Baja California Sur, is a nonprofit organization working to support a sustainable society in harmony with its environment. It brings scientific and cultural knowledge together to address social and environmental challenges and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future. Its work includes programs focused on ocean protection and the health and well-being of people in Baja California Sur.

In 2025, Ciencias BCS launched Vínculos Naturales, a program addressing the growing disconnection between children and nature. The initiative aims to help restore that connection, support children’s well-being, and encourage communities to take an active role in conservation. The organization also lists cleaning stations among its projects and shares reports and links related to its work.

People can support Ciencias BCS by making a contribution or volunteering. Donations help the organization continue its programs, while volunteer participation offers a way to take part in its mission.
