## Description

Launched in 2007, CIMB Foundation is CIMB Group’s corporate responsibility and philanthropic arm. It works with a range of partners to support sustainable, long-term positive change in communities, while also responding to immediate needs and prioritising areas where needs are greatest. Through grants, collaborations and curated programmes, the Foundation aims to empower communities and improve lives.

Its work focuses on four areas. Economic empowerment initiatives create opportunities and build community capacity. Climate and environment programmes promote awareness and support conservation projects. Health and community well-being efforts provide healthcare and humanitarian assistance to people in need. Education programmes support community-based learning, with particular attention to underprivileged students.

CIMB Foundation also shares updates about its initiatives and provides information on its programmes, reports and grant application process through its website. Its approach combines practical support with longer-term community development, connecting people with opportunities and resources that can help strengthen their futures. The Foundation’s activities reflect CIMB’s commitment to contributing to social progress across the communities it serves.
