CIMT | Association for Cancer Immunotherapy is a renowned brand that has been at the forefront of advancing cancer immunotherapeutics for the past 20 years. Founded in 2005, CIMT's Immunoguiding Program (CIP) plays a crucial role in guiding the development of innovative cancer immunotherapeutics by promoting inter-laboratory harmonization and quality control education. CIP's mission is to establish high-quality immunomonitoring across the field, and it achieves this by supporting immune monitoring harmonization and validating in-vitro assays.

They organize proficiency panels to ensure quality control and harmonization of commonly used immunomonitoring assays, as well as to test new tools and assays of interest. Furthermore, CIP provides educational support through scientific sessions at the CIMT Annual Meeting and workshops. CIP works closely with partner groups, institutions, and almost 80 laboratories from Europe and the USA, all sharing the same aims.

The activities of CIP are funded through educational grants and industry support. With a dedicated group of 9 members, CIP actively encourages collaboration and knowledge exchange among professionals in the field of immune monitoring.
