## Description

The Cincinnati Reefkeepers Society is a vibrant regional aquaria club located in Cincinnati, Ohio, dedicated to saltwater hobbyists. Established in 1998, the club brings together over 100 members, ranging from beginners to seasoned experts, all united by a passion for marine ecosystems. The club’s motto, “Knowledge, Propagation, Interaction,” emphasizes its mission to enhance understanding and practice in the captive husbandry of corals and reef inhabitants.

Members benefit from a variety of engaging events, including monthly meetings that foster casual discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and educational seminars led by authoritative marine aquarists. Noteworthy highlights include the Annual Frag Swap, where local enthusiasts exchange captive-raised coral fragments and celebrate marine aquaristry with a large raffle. The club also organizes exciting field trips to local attractions like the Newport Aquarium.

As a proud member of the Marine Aquarium Societies of North America, the Cincinnati Reefkeepers Society is committed to supporting hobbyists and promoting sustainable practices in marine aquaculture for future generations.
