Cinema Culturas Film Festival is a multidisciplinary platform that aims to showcase extraordinary stories of ordinary people through the power of film. Operating in Southern California, from the Coachella Valley to Los Angeles, Cinema Culturas uses film to express ideas, share experiences, inspire, and foster inclusion. In collaboration with the University of California Institute for Mexico and the United States (UC MEXUS), Cinema Culturas presents its annual fall film festivals, Cinema Culturas and Festival in the Fields.

These festivals feature award-winning independent Latino films, educational student workshops on storytelling and film production, as well as talks on health and education, available in both English and Spanish. Through their initiatives, Cinema Culturas provides a platform for underprivileged areas, allowing the voices and dreams of Southern California and beyond to be heard and seen on the big screen.
