## Description

The Cinnamon Trust is a national charity supporting older people and people who are terminally ill, as well as the pets who are important to them. Its work helps owners keep their companions cared for when illness, age or other challenges make everyday pet care difficult. The Trust offers practical assistance with day-to-day care, temporary support and arrangements for lifelong care when a pet outlives its owner. It also provides pet profiling and information about pet-friendly care homes, helping people plan for their pets’ needs and find reassurance for the future.

The charity’s services are delivered with the support of volunteers and foster carers, including those who provide loving homes for pets under the Trust’s lifelong guardianship. The Cinnamon Trust also runs sanctuaries and invites the public to support its work through volunteering, fostering, donations, membership, fundraising, business partnerships and gifts in wills. Events include community activities and charity challenges such as walking, running, swimming and cycling.
