## Description

The Centre for International Policy Studies (CIPS) is Canada’s premier hub for scholarship and informed debate on global affairs, established in 2007 at the University of Ottawa. With a strong commitment to excellence in research, CIPS draws from a diverse team of experts across multiple faculties, including Social Sciences and Law. The Centre focuses primarily on two critical areas: International Security and Global Governance, addressing pressing global challenges such as fragile states, technological risks, and the evolution of international regulatory frameworks.

CIPS not only conducts in-depth research but also fosters public discourse by hosting workshops, speaker events, and engaging discussions open to academics, officials, journalists, and the general public. Additionally, the Centre supports collaborative research projects and provides grants for innovative studies. Through its various initiatives, including a dedicated blog and graduate student involvement, CIPS is dedicated to promoting a nuanced understanding of Canadian foreign policy and global governance trends. Connect with CIPS for insightful analysis on today’s international challenges.
