## Description

Circle of Brothers (COB) is a Māori brotherhood and support network established in Kaitaia in 2014. It brings together local Māori men who aim to become positive role models for the next generation of tāne in Aotearoa. Guided by the idea that every member is equal and connected, COB values mana motuhake, whanaungatanga, kotahitanga and wellbeing through Te Whare Tapa Whā. Its commandments emphasize mutual care, respect, support for Indigenous cultures, openness to individuality, withholding judgment, thoughtful responses, and resilience.

Under COB, The Warpath is a men’s health and healthy-lifestyle movement based in the Far North. It works to promote tāne ora through a supportive network offering online content and campaigns, as well as in-person engagement. Its approach draws on Te Ao Māori and uses physical activity to support psychological, spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing. The Warpath has run structured six-week training and activation programs for young men in the community.
