As an accelerator, Circular Challenge aims to drive the transformation of our economy towards circular models in the face of ecological urgency and systemic crisis. Developed by Citeo, a leading waste management organization, Circular Challenge provides long-term support for projects focused on prevention, eco-design, sorting, collection, reuse, and recycling in the household packaging and paper value chain. Through this program, Circular Challenge Citeo identifies emerging solutions on the market, inspiring and embracing novelty. It fosters direct collaborations with innovative solutions, streamlining the process and saving valuable time. By participating in Circular Challenge, companies like Leroy Merlin and Coca-Cola benefit from the credibility, validation, and recognition provided by Citeo. This accelerator bridges the gap between startups and large corporations, enabling them to work together to create effective, profitable, and marketable solutions. Circular Challenge has already made a significant impact with over 2,000 identified projects, 66 projects supported, and the generation of more than €71 million in revenue. It has also created over 1,200 jobs and initiated 49 circular innovation experiments. With its focus on acceleration and experimentation, Circular Challenge is at the heart of the transition towards a more sustainable and circular economy.
