Communities In Schools of Atlanta is an award-winning dropout prevention organization that has been providing support to students since 1972. Established in Atlanta, Georgia, the organization has grown to become the largest dropout prevention network in the nation. Their mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

By bringing caring adults into schools to address children's unmet needs, Communities In Schools of Atlanta creates a link between educators and the community. This enables teachers to focus on teaching, while students, especially those at risk of dropping out, can concentrate on learning. During the 2020-2021 school year alone, the organization empowered 34,000 students, with 97% of their caseload students staying in school, graduating on time, or being promoted.

Currently serving four school districts in Atlanta, Communities In Schools of Atlanta continues to make a positive impact on graduation rates. Their dedication and proven track record make them a vital asset in the education system
