## Description

CISAV, the Centro de Investigación Social Avanzada, is an interdisciplinary research and public-service community founded in 2008 in Querétaro, Mexico. Its mission is to examine urgent social questions through rigorous research, guided by a Christian perspective and a commitment to human dignity. The organization works across four divisions: Bioethics, Social and Legal Sciences, Family and Gender, and Philosophy, bringing different fields together to understand contemporary challenges and support a critical culture centered on the person.

CISAV offers academic programs in person and online, including master’s studies, courses, diplomas, seminars, panels, conferences, and webinars. Its bioethics programs address topics spanning medicine, law, philosophy, and biotechnology. The center also conducts and shares research through publications, an online bookstore, the journal Open Insight, and the Mexican Observatory of Religious Freedom. Visitors can explore articles, opinion columns, news, videos, and educational resources through its website. CISAV’s work also includes social analysis intended to inform community action and contribute to peace, reflecting its broader aim of serving society through research and education.
