## Description

CISCRP is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to engage patients and the public as partners in clinical research. Its mission is to provide accessible resources, programs, and services that build awareness and understanding of research, support informed decisions about participation, and improve the experience of patients and their families. The organization serves both the public and professional audiences, including research and industry organizations.

CISCRP’s services include plain-language clinical research communications, such as protocol synopses, informed consent forms, trial results summaries, and publication summaries. It also offers patient and care partner advisory boards, clinical insights and engagement, community engagement, and research into public perceptions. Educational resources include an online Education Center, videos, brochures, webinars, infographics, and frequently asked questions. For the public, CISCRP provides a clinical trial search tool and opportunities to join review panels, become community educators, or share medical stories. Its community programs include events, the AWARE for All initiative, and the Journey to Better Health Mobile Exhibit. Donations support its global clinical research education initiatives.
