## Description

Cité Mer is a nonprofit association based in the Boulogne-sur-Mer area of France, introducing people to the maritime world since 2006. It combines educational activities with practical experiences at sea, including outings on sailing boats and sea-fishing trips. The association also offers educational workshops and a personalized welcome, helping participants discover the sea through direct involvement.

Cité Mer aims to make maritime experiences accessible to a broad range of people. Its activities include opportunities for residents of priority neighbourhoods, as well as outings for individuals, community organisations and businesses. Whether participants are looking to learn, explore or enjoy time on the water, the association provides ways to take part according to their needs and interests.

Cité Mer’s outings meet at the Port de Plaisance, Quai Chanzy, in Boulogne-sur-Mer, and its local premises are in Saint-Martin-Boulogne. Through its sailing, fishing and educational programmes, the association encourages practical discovery of maritime life and creates opportunities for more people to experience the sea.
