## Description

They are committed to meeting the mental health needs of populations across the globe. Their goal is to bring about significant and measurable improvements in mental health, especially among young people. To achieve this, citiesRISE is scaling up proven methodologies and tools while mobilizing experts and communities. Their vision is to create a world where cities support the growth, resilience, and productivity of young people by integrating mental health into all sectors. CitiesRISE recognizes the importance of mental health, as poor mental health affects a large and growing number of people globally. Mental illness is a chronic disease that often begins in youth and has significant economic implications. They strive to address this issue by connecting creative and collaborative leaders and driving transformative change. Their approach involves driving change through city and community-based alliances, adopting evidence-based strategies, and scaling up proven tools and approaches. They aim to improve awareness, reduce suicidality, improve risk factors, increase early identification and screening in schools, and improve school and job retention rates in cities. Join citiesRISE in creating a Mental Health Friendly Cities movement and help unleash the hidden potential of communities. #iRISE #weRISE.
