Citizen Next is a civic tech startup based in Bucharest, Romania, dedicated to reinventing the interaction between citizens, NGOs, and institutions through digital projects that promote efficiency, open data, and participatory democracy. Our mission is to contribute to the new generation of public services by leveraging technology. As a non-profit organization and a member of CivicTech Romania, we develop digital tools that simplify citizen access to public services and increase the social impact of NGOs. We build dedicated applications for citizens, develop digital products to scale NGOs, open public interest data, and provide technological expertise to streamline institutions. Some of our projects include GovTech Covid-SAFE, an application that digitalizes the DSP declaration for entry into the country during the COVID-19 pandemic, and eHealth parinte.eu, an application that helps parents comply with national vaccination and screening protocols through personalized notifications.
