## Description

Citizen Science Crew at Daangean brings community members and professionals together to support the care and preservation of Devilbend’s unique natural environment in Tuerong, Victoria. Through practical, hands-on citizen science, the organisation encourages people of all experience levels to learn, contribute and make a difference. Its projects include the Daangean Turtle Project, a Murnong grassland project and a school ambassador program, with further activities being added across the reserve. Volunteers can take part in local environmental projects, while the Crew shares information about upcoming activities, news and ways to get involved. Its work focuses on improving, maintaining and preserving the area, including caring for the shoreline and supporting healthy natural habitats. The organisation acknowledges the Bunurong / BoonWurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the lands, waters and sky. Its partners and sponsors include Parks Victoria, Bunjilwarra, Melbourne Water, Bayview Property and Worthy Creative. Through shared learning and community participation, Citizen Science Crew helps people connect with and care for the place they explore together.
