## Description

As Leipzig’s first free-floating car-sharing provider, it offers a flexible alternative to station-based rentals: vehicles can be found, unlocked and returned within the designated service area, with no fixed pickup locations. Customers do not need to book in advance or specify a rental period, making the service suitable for spontaneous trips at any time of day.

To get started, users register online or through the free cityflitzer app, then submit photographs of their identification and driving licence for account verification. The app displays nearby available cars, which can be reserved for up to 15 minutes or unlocked immediately. At the end of a trip, the vehicle must be parked in a free public parking space within the service area and locked through the app. Drivers may travel beyond the area but must return the car to it before ending their rental.

There is no monthly base fee; charges reflect actual use.
