## Description

The National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is Singapore’s national agency for fostering volunteerism and philanthropy. It brings together individuals, organisations, communities and leaders across the people, private and public sectors to help build a caring, inclusive and compassionate society. NVPC envisions Singapore as a “City of Good,” where everyone can give every day and everywhere through their time, talent, treasure, ties and testimony.

NVPC supports giving through programmes, research, resources, events and national initiatives. Its work includes giving.sg, a platform connecting people with verified charities, fundraising campaigns and volunteering opportunities; the Centre for Non-Profit Leadership, which supports stronger governance and leadership in charities; and BAGUS Together, which equips community-led groundups with resources and connections. Other initiatives recognise purposeful corporate contributions, encourage collective giving, and celebrate volunteerism and philanthropy, including the President’s Volunteerism and Philanthropy Awards and the Company of Good Recognition System. Through these efforts, NVPC helps people and organisations find meaningful ways to contribute and strengthens collaboration for positive community impact in Singapore.
