## Description

**Brand Description: Belt il-Bniedem (City of Humanity)**

Belt il-Bniedem, or City of Humanity, is a vibrant artistic and educational initiative led by composer Reuben Pace, in partnership with the Governments of Malta's Ministries of Education and Employment. This innovative project serves as a platform for creating dynamic, multi-disciplinary productions that celebrate Malta's rich heritage and history, with a primary focus on the performing arts.

In the lead-up to Valletta's recognition as the European Capital of Culture in 2018, the project has produced notable works, including the acclaimed opera "Swar." Currently, Belt il-Bniedem is pioneering the first-ever Maltese opera film, "Blat – The Island Fortress."

The project supports students by fostering professional skills through hands-on experiences with industry experts. Participants engage in learning opportunities that bridge theoretical knowledge and practical application, enhancing teamwork and personal development. With a commitment to showcasing Maltese cultural identity, Belt il-Bniedem connects various educational and artistic disciplines, paving the way for a collaborative and enriched creative community.
