City of Refuge is a renowned brand in Atlanta, GA, dedicated to transforming individuals and families in crisis. It all began when Pastor Bruce Deel was asked to assist with the closing of a church in July 1997. As he witnessed the congregation growing instead of dwindling, he realized the tremendous need for spiritual nurturing and basic life necessities.

To be closer to those in need, City of Refuge moved to Atlanta's Westside in 2003, generously donated a sprawling warehouse complex. They opened their doors to the community, offering more than just food and shelter. The community sought help with recovery centers, court advocacy, and job training.

When City of Refuge couldn't provide something, they partnered with other organizations to meet those needs. City of Refuge continues to grow as a hub of support, providing comprehensive programs and services to empower individuals and families. From job training courses and tech academies to assistance in court and recovery centers, they remain committed to bringing light, hope, and transformation to those in crisis.
