## Description

City Possum Farm is a small farm and creative studio in South Knoxville, Tennessee, bringing together agriculture, art, landscape design, soil knowledge, composting, and textile work. The farm offers CSA shares, CBD hemp, worm castings, native cut flowers, and lamb, with farm vegetables and flowers expected to return in spring 2025. Its growing practices center on building healthy, living soil and a strong microbial community. To support that goal, the farm uses organic compost made with locally sourced food waste, biochar, worm castings, cover crops, and compost teas. City Possum’s studio work reflects an interest in well- and ethically sourced fabrics, re-purposing, and close observation of the more-than-human world. The team also values land trust communities and organizations working toward more just land stewardship and tenure. Customers can look for studio work at markets and find farm goods when they return for the spring season. Through its farm and studio, City Possum connects ecological care, practical growing, and creative work in its South Knoxville community.
