City Wide Church is a brand that believes in living a life for Christ with a passion that displays how great our God is! With a diverse and quickly growing congregation, City Wide Church is destined to be the hands and feet of God in the North East region. They offer a worship experience that will usher you into the throne room of God, as well as expository and life applicable teachings that will leave a lasting impact. City Wide Church cannot be explained, only experienced! Founded in 1984 as God's Victorious Army Church (GVA) by Felix Burgos, the church was later led by Pastor Luis Burgos after his father's passing in 2008, and the name was changed to City Wide Church.

In 2021, City Wide Church merged with Amazing Grace Church, forming a powerful union dedicated to becoming Bridgeport, Connecticut's largest soul-saving effort. They serve the culturally diverse City of Bridgeport, reaching out to the unique stories and communities within. With a mission to show compassion, love, and disciple the people of Bridgeport, City Wide Church aims to bring their friends, families, and loved ones to Jesus.
