## Description

Civil AIDS Forum is a Hungarian civil society organization focused on HIV/AIDS information, prevention, testing, counselling, and advocacy. It works to make support accessible while challenging the stigma and discrimination experienced by people affected by HIV and AIDS. Its activities include public awareness campaigns, HIV screening initiatives, training for counsellors, and educational publications. The organization also provides practical information on prevention, testing, treatment, and care, with resources for people living with HIV and professionals. Its counselling and outreach work aims to respond sensitively to the needs of vulnerable communities, including LGBT people, people who inject drugs, and sex workers. In one campaign, the Forum trained 25 volunteers in HIV counselling, combining an established counselling curriculum with anti-discrimination content. It has also organized screening events in several Hungarian cities and at public gatherings, in cooperation with other civil organizations. Alongside direct services, Civil AIDS Forum engages in policy advocacy and shares news and information about HIV/AIDS.
