## Description

The Centre Jean-Marie Larrieu (CJML) is an autonomous public departmental medico-social institution in France, with its own legal status since 1984. It provides adapted education and social or medico-social support for children and adolescents with disabilities or adjustment difficulties. Admission is for young people with a notification from the Maison Départementale de l’Autonomie, which includes the Maison Départementale des Personnes Handicapées. CJML operates within the French hospital public service and brings together a multidisciplinary team to support the young people it welcomes.

Its services include an Institut Médico-Éducatif (IME), with IMPro and IMP provision, and a Dispositif Thérapeutique, Éducatif et Pédagogique (DITEP), which has a capacity of 30 places and operates as an integrated service arrangement. The centre also offers a Service d’Éducation Spéciale et de Soins à Domicile (SESSAD), with 20 places. CJML’s facilities are located at three sites: Les Adours in Campan, L’Echez in Tarbes, and Les Nestes in Lannemezan.
