## Description

CKX Lands, Inc. Established in 1930 as Calcasieu Real Estate & Oil Co., Inc., the company initially focused on receiving non-producing mineral royalties. As the royalties started generating oil and gas income, CKX Lands used the funds to acquire land. In 2005, the company changed its name to CKX Lands, Inc. CKX Lands owns land and mineral interests, earning revenue through oil and gas royalties, surface leases for farming and other uses, timber sales, and more. While they do not engage in oil and gas exploration or farming activities directly, they receive royalties and management fees for these activities performed by others. The company's office is located at 2417 Shell Beach Drive, Lake Charles, LA 70601, and they can be reached at (337) 493-2399 or admin@ckxlands.com.
