## Description

Claussen’s is a locally grown greenhouse, perennial farm, florist, and garden center based in Colchester, Vermont. Growing plants locally since 1972, the business offers a broad selection for gardens and homes, including annuals, perennials, shrubs, herbs, vegetables, chrysanthemums, tropical and other houseplants, and seasonal and blooming plants. Its garden center changes with the seasons, and knowledgeable staff help customers choose plants, pots, and supplies suited to their needs.

The florist creates fresh floral arrangements, while the gift shop carries gifts, pottery, accessories, and other items for the home and garden. Claussen’s also provides gardening essentials such as mulch and soil, plant rentals, commercial accounts, wholesale services, and weekly delivery routes. Customers can find availability and price lists, seasonal sales, coupons, and gift cards through the business. Claussen’s serves both experienced gardeners and people beginning a plant collection, with products and guidance for indoor and outdoor growing. Open seven days a week, it welcomes visitors at its Main Street location in Colchester and was voted Best Florist in the Seven Daysies 2026 awards.
