## Description

Cleadon Ear Care is a nurse-led ear care clinic and mobile service based in South Shields, serving clients across Tyne and Wear. Founded on evidence-based practice, the service is led by a specialist Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of NHS experience. Cleadon Ear Care is registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Services are available at the clinic or through home visits. A consultation and ear check includes a pre-treatment assessment and examination using video otoscopy, clinical advice, and a personalised care plan if treatment is needed. Where appropriate, the clinic can also provide a communication letter to a GP or referring practitioner, or arrange onward referral to an ENT specialist.

Treatments include earwax removal from one or both ears and removal of foreign objects, such as cotton buds, earplugs, hearing-aid parts, or small toys. Fees include the consultation, and wax-removal appointments offer a free follow-up visit if necessary. A 10% discount is available for clients over 65 receiving earwax removal.
