## Description

CLEAN, the Climate Literacy and Energy Awareness Network, is a project launched in 2010 as part of the National Science Digital Library Pathways project. It is spearheaded by the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Science at the University of Colorado Boulder and the Science Education Resource Center at Carleton College. The project aims to curate a collection of climate and energy science educational resources for educators, primarily targeting students from secondary through undergraduate levels. This collection includes learning activities, visualizations, videos, and demonstrations aimed at promoting climate and energy literacy. CLEAN also provides guidance and support for educators in teaching climate and energy science, and fosters a community of professionals committed to enhancing climate and energy literacy. Additionally, the project has been widely acclaimed by educators, science researchers, and professionals as a reliable and valuable resource in environmental education. CLEAN is funded by grants from major organizations such as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and NASA.
