The Clean Vehicle Assistance Program is dedicated to making clean vehicles accessible and affordable for income-qualified Californians. We provide grants and affordable financing options to help eligible individuals purchase or lease new or used hybrid or electric vehicles. Our program is funded by California Climate Investments, which uses Cap-and-Trade dollars to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve public health in disadvantaged communities. If you're a California resident living in a disadvantaged community and meet the income requirements, you may be eligible for our grant program. We offer grants for plug-in hybrids, fuel cell vehicles, and electric vehicles. You may also qualify for a home charging station with installation support, valued at up to $2,000.
