## Description

The Barony of the Cleftlands is a vibrant chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc., located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, including Cleveland. Established in 1970, the Barony dedicates itself to the research and re-creation of pre-17th-century European culture, arts, and martial traditions. This non-profit educational organization offers members immersive experiences and hands-on learning opportunities, allowing them to engage in activities such as medieval combat, craftsmanship, music, costuming, and historical cooking.

The Barony has a rich history, having achieved baronial status in 1978, and has since evolved under various leaderships that have fostered a community centered around historical reenactment and education. The current Baron and Baroness, Pietro Nicolo da San Tebaldo and Mistress Aurelia Rosetti, continue this legacy, ensuring the Barony remains a welcoming space for newcomers. With a robust calendar of local and online events, as well as ongoing educational resources, the Barony of the Cleftlands invites all to explore the fascinating world of history and creativity.
