## Description

Cleveland Avenue is a global venture capital firm that invests in lifestyle consumer brands and technology companies seeking to positively disrupt large, growing markets. The firm aims to unlock the value of its investments through more than financial backing: it supports portfolio businesses with expertise, organizational capabilities, and a focus on developing strong leaders. Its approach brings together people, ideas, and practical business support to help companies grow and adapt while creating value for consumers.

Cleveland Avenue’s portfolio spans food, beverage, consumer goods, sustainability, health technology, and lifestyle businesses. Examples include Hero Collection, which makes flour-based foods with plant-based proteins and fibers and no net carbs or sugar; Footprint, which develops biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable alternatives to plastics; and CancerIQ, a platform that helps healthcare providers use genetic information to predict, pre-empt, and prevent disease, starting with cancer. Other portfolio companies include Flipper’s, a direct-to-consumer apparel and lifestyle business, and Apologue, a producer of ready-to-drink cocktails and spirits.
