The Cleveland Cord Blood Center (CCBC) is a renowned brand and not-for-profit organization that is a leader in the collection, processing, storage, and distribution of high-quality cord blood stem cell units for transplantation. With a mission to serve the unmet needs of a diverse population, CCBC focuses on patients with life-threatening disorders such as leukemia, lymphoma, and immune system disorders. Established in 2008 by Dr.

Mary J. Laughlin, who performed one of the world's first successful umbilical cord blood stem cell transplants in 1995, CCBC has become one of only eight FDA-approved cord blood centers in the United States.
