## Description

Cleveland Stables is a purpose-built boutique equine property in Ohariu Valley, around 20 minutes from Wellington’s CBD. Owned by Rob and Sue Purdom and managed by Millie Purdom, the facility focuses primarily on show jumping while welcoming riders from all disciplines. Horse welfare is central to the stable’s approach, with the wellbeing of its horses treated as a priority.

Cleveland Stables offers arena hire, riding lessons, clinics, events, horse schooling, sale-on-behalf services and livery. Arena bookings can be made through the website. Millie Purdom also provides lessons and schooling, and assists with horses offered for sale on behalf of their owners. Her experience includes high-level show jumping, flatwork training, eventing, and working with young, inexperienced or challenging horses and ponies. She has competed over courses up to 1.30 metres and keeps a team of performance horses at the property.

Facilities include an arena, barn, yard block, paddocks and hacking land, supporting professional lessons, schooling and sale preparation. Riders can contact Cleveland Stables for further information or bookings.
