## Description

CleverCities is a transformative initiative focused on regenerating urban environments through nature-based solutions (NBS). The project operates in key districts of cities like Hamburg, London, and Milan, fostering inclusive collaboration among local citizens, businesses, knowledge partners, and authorities. By leveraging local expertise and innovative practices, CleverCities aims to design natural features such as green spaces and trees to tackle urban challenges, improve public health, and enhance economic opportunities for deprived areas.

The initiative spans globally, extending its reach to cities like Belgrade, Larissa, and Madrid, promoting knowledge sharing and adaptation of successful interventions across diverse regions, including Europe, Latin America, and China. CleverCities emphasizes creating greener, more resilient urban spaces that strengthen community bonds and address climate change. The project aims to enhance local understanding of NBS, contribute vital data to EU policy-making, and demonstrate that greener cities significantly benefit people and communities. Through ongoing activities and resources, including publications and events, CleverCities drives a sustainable urban transformation movement worldwide.
