## Description

The Association Stéphane Lamart is a French animal-protection organization recognized as being of public benefit. Its mission is to rescue, care for and protect animals affected by abuse or abandonment, while also working to prevent animal cruelty through legal action. The association reports taking in around 380 animals each year and conducting approximately 190 legal actions against mistreatment. It operates four shelters and care facilities, supported by more than 100 volunteers.

Its work includes emergency veterinary treatment, refuge for abandoned animals, and rescue and rehabilitation. The association invites supporters to contribute through one-time gifts or regular monthly donations, which help fund ongoing care and rescue operations. Donation examples explain how contributions can provide food, urgent veterinary care, or support for an animal’s intake and rehabilitation. The organization states that eligible donations in France may benefit from a 66% tax deduction, subject to applicable limits. It also provides automatic tax receipts and says its accounts are independently audited each year.
