## Description

Clicnat is a collaborative wildlife database for Picardy, managed by the non-profit association Picardie Nature. It brings together observations recorded by Picardie Nature’s volunteers and staff, partner organizations, and other groups contributing data through publicly funded projects. The platform invites anyone to submit observations of wild animals, helping expand knowledge of the region’s biodiversity.

Visitors can explore records by species and browse recent sightings, including an interactive map showing where observations have been reported. The database covers both invertebrates and vertebrates, with species information and counts that highlight the breadth of its collection. It also features regular “One month, one species” spotlights, introducing animals found in the region, and showcases species for users to discover. With millions of observations and thousands of species represented, Clicnat serves as a regional resource for sharing and exploring wildlife records. The site is built using GeoNature-atlas, a platform developed by Écrins National Park.
