## Description

Climate of the Past (CP) is a distinguished scholarly platform dedicated to advancing research in paleo-climatology. Under the aegis of the European Geosciences Union (EGU), CP publishes a plethora of peer-reviewed articles, including regular research articles, reviews, technical notes, and special issues, all focused on the intricate dynamics of historical climate changes. The journal is a repository for compelling preprints, allowing researchers to share their findings on topics such as glacial cycles, ocean temperature analytics through core samples, and the geological shifts influencing diatom deposition.

CP serves the scientific community by providing an interactive review process, a rich editor network, and comprehensive guidelines to uphold publication integrity. Submissions are welcomed on a variety of subjects relating to climate history, ultimately fostering a deeper understanding of climate variability over geologic time. By offering a collaboration-friendly platform, Climate of the Past is pivotal in shaping the discourse on past climate dynamics, grounding contemporary climate research in a robust historical context.
